Meet Dr. Jeanetta D. Sims
Hello, I’m Dr. Jeanetta D. Sims — Hall of Fame educator, award-winning speaker, Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, business strategist and more. I help others unlock inner genius in themselves or their teams. From academia and business to faith and beyond, I find the greatest joy in supporting others, in nurturing their journeys, and in strategically forging paths to success.
My experiences across academia and business range from banking and marketing to administration and community boards. I use these experiences in my roles as a keynote speaker, collaborative consultant, workshop organizer, certified executive coach, author, editor, scholar, and poet.

Dr. Sims is also the founder of Diverse Student Scholars (DSS). DSS has mentored over 80 undergraduate students and provided them with more than 25 grants and publications. Dr. Sims’ award-winning scholarship appears in numerous books and journals such as the Journal of Communication, Journal of Public Relations Research, and Journal of Human Communication Research.
DSS areas of study include: social influence and persuasion, workforce diversity, strategic communication, and marketing communications.

Dr. Sims uses her experience as an award-winning author, editor, and poet to produce books and inspirational resources that contain valuable lessons and practical strategies for living a meaningful life.
